A society is judged by the way it treats its most vulnerable citizens.

We invite you to support organizations that help the elderly and disabled meet the many profound challenges they face.

Our member organizations meet the stringent tests of the US government’s Combined Federal Campaign. They are screened for the adequacy of their governance, the correctness of their financial controls, and the national or international impact of their work.

The range of services they offer is vast. Our members:

  • Offer education and support for deaf young people, adults and their families
  • Provide home care to the elderly
  • Conduct research into new technologies that can help landmine survivors
  • Advocate for laws and regulations that reduce the barriers that the aging and disabled communities too often experience
  • Establish and support overseas eye care clinics, providing continuing, affordable local vision care for the poor
  • Deliver wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment to those in need around the world
  • Breed, train and provide guide dogs for the blind
  • And much much more.

Support from individuals can make the critical difference in the ability of our member organizations to help so many people in need. We thank you for taking a minute to review what our members are achieving.

Join us for the 2010 CFC!
